Executive Functioning Coaching
Executive Functioning Coaching is designed to help students build the essential skills they need to succeed academically, personally, and independently—especially during the critical transition from high school to college.
Many students struggle not because they lack intelligence or motivation, but because they haven’t yet developed the systems and habits needed to manage increased freedom and responsibility.
Our coaching focuses on strengthening core executive functioning skills such as:
Time Management
Organization
Planning
Task Initiation
Prioritization
Follow-through
We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions—every strategy is tailored to how the student thinks and operates best.

A major component of our coaching is helping students develop self-awareness and ownership of their responsibilities. We guide them in understanding how they learn, where they struggle, and how to advocate for themselves in academic settings. This is especially valuable for students with ADHD, learning differences, or other challenges that impact executive functioning.
We also focus on real-world applications. Whether it’s managing a college course load, balancing academics with social life, or keeping track of deadlines and commitments, students gain tools they can immediately apply—and continue using long after coaching ends.
At Watson Educational Consulting, executive functioning coaching isn’t just about staying organized—it’s about building confidence, independence, and the ability to navigate life successfully on their own.
Does Your Student Struggle With...
Responsibility Management
Struggles to keep track of assignments, deadlines, and commitments, leading to late or missing work.
Coaching builds simple, effective systems for organization, planning, and follow-through so nothing falls through the cracks.
Parents often feel like they have to constantly remind, manage, or “hover” just to keep things on track.
Coaching shifts that responsibility to the student by building routines, ownership, and self-management skills—reducing parent stress and increasing student independence.
Needs Constant Reminders
The Procrastination Monster
Students can feel stuck, avoid tasks, or underestimate how long things take.
Coaching teaches how to chunk tasks into manageable steps, prioritize effectively, and use time intentionally—leading to less stress and more consistent performance.
